What Are UNIK GI Fittings
UNIK galvanised iron (GI) threaded pipe fittings are made from blackheart malleable cast iron, conforming to IS:14329-1995 Grade BM-300. Each fitting is threaded after galvanising, which allows it to fit perfectly with IS:1239 standard GI pipe. Galvanising is tested against IS:4759-1996, and threading follows IS:554-1999.
